Grace L. (Kenney) Bernor

FITCHBURG – Grace L. (Kenney) Bernor, 84, of 1199 John Fitch Highway and formerly of Templeton and Gardner, died peacefully Saturday morning, December 21, 2013 in Golden Living Center, Fitchburg.
She was born in Gardner on May 25, 1929, daughter of the late Arthur E. and Genevieve (Canert) Kenney and had lived in Templeton for many years before moving to Fitchburg.
Grace was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and was an avid reader and enjoyed the company of her family members and friends.
She leaves a son, Dana Bernor, formerly of Merrimack, NH; three grandchildren; two great granddaughters; a brother, Steven Kenney of Pittsfield, NH; two nieces, Roberta Desmarais of Goffstown, NH and Jeanne Cyganiewicz of Bedford, NH; two nephews, Michael Kenney of Bedford, NH and Daniel Kenney of Fitzwilliam,NH; a sister-in-law, Gloria Kenney of Goffstown,NH, as well as many other nieces and nephews. A daughter, Jessica M. Bernor, died as an infant.
At her request, her body was donated for anatomical research to Boston University School of Medicine, Boston. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville.
