Guy Andre Savoie

WINCHENDON - Guy Andre Savoie, 53, of 14 Brooks Road, Winchendon, died unexpectedly at his residence Sunday evening, March 21st. He was born in Richibucto, New Brunswick, Canada on January 7,1957, the son of Melina (Gallant) Savoie-Desaulniers of Templeton and the late Clarence Savoie and had lived in Winchendon for ten years, after living in Gardner for many years. Guy was a 1975 graduate of Gardner High School and attended classes at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School to become a CNC Instructor. He worked at Nichols and Stone for 35 years as a CNC Operator and worked most recently for Moduform in Fitchburg. He was a member of AFLCIO. Guy was an avid bowler and was a member of the Monday Night Men's Bowling League. He was a member of St. Denis Church in Ashburnham. He also enjoyed body building and fishing. A former Little League Coach, Guy was a fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Montreal Canadians. Guy was also a former member of the Ashburnham Lions Club. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his mother, he leaves his wife of 33 years, Candy A. (Vanderbilt) Savoie; three children, Jeremy J. Savoie of New Bedford, Jarrod J. Savoie of Winchendon and Angela M. Losordo and her husband John of Fitchburg; six siblings, Bernie Savoie of Newburyport, Gisele White and her husband Kenneth of Wappingers Falls, NY, Angela Cramm and her husband Paul of Gardner, Andre Savoie and his wife Kim of Natrona, PA, Maurice Savoie and his wife Virginia of Ayer and Lisa King and her husband Eric of Wingdale, NY; three grandchildren, Ethan Pasakinskas, John Joseph Losordo 3rd and Isabella Lynn Savoie; his stepfather, Richard Desaulniers of Templeton, as well as many nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 26th from Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in St. Denis Church, 85 Main Street, Ashburnham.
