Harold Gravelle Jr.

FITCHBURG – Harold Gravelle Jr., 66, of 21 Hope Street, formerly of Ashburnham, died peacefully Thursday, January 20, 2022 in HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital.

He was born in Fitzwilliam, NH on March 16, 1955, son of Ann Dunton of Ashburnham and the late Harold Gravelle Sr. and moved to Ashburnham, where he grew up, at the age of eleven.  He had been a resident of Fitchburg for several years.

Harold greatly enjoyed old country music, taking walks and birds.  He once owned a dove.

In addition to his mother, he leaves his brothers and sisters, Arlene Tessier of Ashburnham, Pauline Nicholas of Gardner, William Gravelle and his wife Thelma of Gardner, Cheryl Blouin of Gardner, Brenda Cortinas and husband Daniel of Gardner and Amy Dunton of Ashburnham as well as many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry L. Gravelle and James Gravelle and a sister, Lisa Alward.

Graveside services will be held in the spring in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fitzwilliam, N.H.
