GARDNER – Henry A. “Hank” Racine Jr., 74, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday morning, February 1st in Life Care Center of Leominster, after a short illness.

Hank was born in Newport, ME on May 28, 1938, son of the late Henry A. and Sarah (Forrest) Racine and lived in Gardner for several years.

Hank was a printer for Colonial Press in Clinton.  He also worked at Levigne Press until his retirement.  Until recently, Hank worked part-time for Maki Building Center in Gardner.  Hank was a graduate of Appleton Academy in New Ipswich, NH and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1962.

He leaves his wife of 20 years, Theresa M. (Dooley) Racine; two daughters, Cherie Dery and her husband Peter of Lunenburg and Susan Tardiff of Leominster; two stepchildren, Michael Larson of Gardner and Kelly Feuillet and her husband Daemon of San Diego, CA; four grandchildren, Jason Tardiff, Jessica Tardiff, Craig Dery and Stephanie Dery; one step granddaughter Dahlia Feuillet; one great grandson Jordan Kittredge; two sisters, Patricia Beauregard of Ashby and Chlorice Chaban of Leominster; as well as many nephews and nieces.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Hank enjoyed the trips he took with Theresa, including to the National Parks, Hawaii, Italy, and many more places, as well as spending time with family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, February 5th from 6 to 8 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.
