Holly A. Bielawa, 70 of Troy, New Hampshire passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Dartmouth- Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Holly was born on December 11,1953, the daughter of the late Edwin and Mary (Roy) Bielawa. Holly graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Springfield, MA. She worked for the Chicopee School Department where she retired. After retirement, Holly worked as a toddler teacher at Children’s House, Inc. in Springfield. Holly lived in Springfield for 30 years and recently moved to Troy, New Hampshire. During her time in Troy, she worked at Dollar General where she made many friends. Holly was proud to serve her country, as she was a member of the Air National Guard in the 104th Tactical Fighter Group at Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield MA.
Holly leaves behind her daughter and best friend, Bridget Mowrey and her husband Nikolas, and her beloved grandson Walker Mowrey who she called her “Punkie”. She leaves behind many cousins who she was proud to call her family.
For over twenty years, Holly was a Justice of the Peace, joining hundreds of couples in marriage. Holly loved her animals, and enjoyed watching Turner Classic Movies, Fox News, and she loved to tend to her plants and her garden. She also loved listening to Elvis, and watching Gone With The Wind and but most of all she loved her time with her grandson Walker. Walker was her pride and joy and she loved telling everyone about him. Holly was loved by many, and she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. There won’t be a day that goes by where Holly isn’t missed by her family and her friends.
Calling hours for Holly will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
