WINCHENDON - Ida A. (St. Pierre) Mann, 93, formerly of 44 Prospect Street, died Wednesday morning, December 5th in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Gardner. She was born in Winchendon on January 19,1914, the daughter of Joseph A. and Eugenie (Roy) St. Pierre, and as a lifelong resident of Winchendon. Ida worked as an assembler for 28 years at New Hampshire Ball Bearing in Peterborough, N.H. until her retirement in 1989. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and its former Ladies of Ste. Anne, and was very active in the church bazaars. She was also a member of the Eugene M. Connor Post 193 American Legion Auxiliary, Lt. Frederick Wilder White Post 2158 V.F.W. Auxiliary, and the Winchendon Golden Age Club. Her husband, Willard I. Mann, died in 1977. She leaves a son,Tony J. St. Pierre and his wife Kathy of Wexford, PA.; two granddaughters, Lisa Luksic and her husband David and Teri Aldrich and her husband Gary; four great grandchildren , Christian Aldrich, Kate Aldrich, Joseph Luksic and Julia Luksic, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by five brothers, Louis St. Pierre, Albert St. Pierre, Henry St. Pierre, Horace St. Pierre and Edmund St. Pierre, and a sister, Aldea Lashua. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 7th from the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Friday, December 7th from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
