Irene D. (Alisauskas) Seminoff

WINCHENDON - Irene D. (Alisauskas) Seminoff, 76, of 53B Hyde Park Drive, Winchendon, died peacefully Thursday, November 11th, at her residence.
She was born in Gardner on December 14, 1933, the daughter of the late Stanley and Marjorie (Adkins) Alisauskas, and had lived in Winchendon for twelve years. She previously lived in Fitchburg. Irene was a taxi cab driver for the former Stanley's Cab Company in Gardner and also had worked at the Gardner CAC. A graduate of Fitchburg High School, she served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1953. Irene loved reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and following FaceBook and Farmville on her computer. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She leaves five children, John A. Seminoff and his wife Dorothy of Lehigh Acres, FL, Tekla H. Lafrennie and her husband Joseph of Winchendon, Michael P. Seminoff of Lehigh Acres, FL, Daniel W. Seminoff and his wife Marjorie of Leominster and Lisa H. Seminoff of Fitchburg; two brothers, Stanley Alisauskas and his wife Elizabeth of Hubbardston and Frank Alisauskas and his wife Barbara of Winchendon; two sisters, Marjorie Saulnier of Bristol, CT and Elizabeth Leete and her husband Earl of Athol; 16 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
