RINDGE, NH – Jacqueline A. (Lirette) Goguen, 83, of 13 Country Meadows Drive, Rindge, NH, died peacefully Saturday morning, March 26 th in Good Shepherd Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Jaffrey, NH..
She was born in New Brunswick, Canada on December 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Camille and Eva (Bourque) Lirette and had lived in Rindge for 28 years after previously living in Lunenburg.
For over twenty years, Jackie worked as manager of Henri Hairdressing and then worked for twelve years as a tester at Millipore until her retirement. She was proud that, as a youngster, she was a competitive speed skater in Canada.
Her husband of 57 years, Gerard J. Goguen, died in January, 2010. She leaves three children, Renee Blanchette and her husband Rick of New Ipswich, NH, Richard Goguen of Beverly, MA and Michelle Goguen of New York City, NY; one brother, Eloi Lirette, of New Brunswick, Canada; three sisters, Gussie Amero of Nova Scotia, Mary Ann Lirette and Dorette Hopkins, both of New Brunswick, Canada and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be private and the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon, MA.
