GARDNER – James M. Martin, 46, of New Bedford and formerly of Gardner, died recently in New Bedford.
He was born in Gardner on January 28, 1966, son of Gerald E. Martin of Templeton and Roseanna (Dupre) Nelson of Winchendon and lived for most of his life in Gardner until moving to New Bedford five years ago.
Jim was a graduate of Gardner High School and worked as a cook at Olsen’s Restaurant in East Templeton for several years. For the last five years he worked as a counselor and taught arts and crafts at Harmony House in New Bedford.
In addition to his parents, he leaves his brothers and sister, Wayne A. Martin of Phillipston, Melissa A. Martin of Winchendon and Michael LaRoche of Lunenburg, as well as several nephews and nieces.
Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon will be Thursday evening, December 6th from 6 to 8 P.M.
