ASHBURNHAM – James W. Goguen, 62, of St. Petersburg, FL and formerly of Ashburnham, died of natural causes Wednesday, April 10th.
He was born in Fitchburg, MA on November 3, 1956, son of Barbara Phyllis (Levesque) Goguen of Gardner and the late William F. Goguen of Ashburnham. Jim grew up in Ashburnham and attended Oakmont Regional High School. He resided in Florida for the last fifteen years.
Jim was gifted as a “jack of all trades” and was always known to help others by fixing things for them. He will be remembered as an outgoing, friendly man who could make others around him smile and laugh. He enjoyed the outdoors; going camping and fishing. In his later years, he spent his time outdoors riding his bike around Florida, camping on the beach, spending time with his family in Florida, and making many new friends.
In addition to his mother, he leaves three children, Travis Goguen of Spring Hill, FL, Troy Goguen of Ashburnham, and Codi Rae Goguen of Gardner; a brother Brian Goguen of Leominster; his former wife Lisa Brown and first wife Sue Provost; eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Mark Goguen preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 1 P.M. in New Cemetery, Old Nims Road, Ashburnham.
