TEMPLETON – Jane M. (Coulombe) Maillet, 57, of 93 State Road, Baldwinville, died peacefully after a long, courageous battle with cancer Saturday morning, January 5th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner. She was surrounded by her family and friends, who were at her side.
She was born in Gardner on April 2, 1955, daughter of Raymond and Irene (Roy) Coulombe and attended Gardner High School. Jane worked at various woodshops, including Woodskill in Baldwinville and was co-owner of Yankee Woodworkers in Gardner. Jane had also worked at the Carriage House Restaurant as a prep cook and at Dunkin Donuts. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and painting, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and dog Annie. Jane had earned her GED and had lived in Baldwinville for 38 years.
She leaves her husband of 41 years, Francis J. Maillet; twins, Jennifer L. Maillet of Baldwinville and Jason M. Maillet and his wife Vicki M. (Croteau) Maillet of Phillipston. She also leaves one sister, June Harding and her husband John of Gardner, two brothers, Roger Coulombe and his wife Terry of Sturbridge and Ronald J. Coulombe and his wife Melanie Fritz-Coulombe of San Diego, CA and three grandchildren, Joseph F. Labonte of Baldwinville, Nicholas H. Maillet and Julia M. Maillet of Phillipston, as well as nephews and nieces.
Private funeral services will be held in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon. There are no calling hours.
