WINCHENDON – Janice C. (Mailloux) Paquin, 87, of 111 Ipswich Drive, died peacefully Tuesday evening, October 6th in UMASS Memorial Hospital, Worcester.
She was born in Malden, MA on January 3, 1928, daughter of the late Edgar O. and Dorothy (Bell) Mailloux and had lived in Winchendon for many years.
Janice was a self-employed artist and also worked for many years at the former Winchendon Hospital as a nurse’s aide. Just before retirement, she worked at Rural Housing in Winchendon as a receptionist. She was a graduate of Springfield Trade School. Janice loved spending time with her family and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
She leaves a daughter, Gretchen Paquin of Lewsiville, TX; a granddaughter, Stephanie Paquin; a great granddaughter, Autumn J. Paquin; a faithful companion, Star Paquin; a brother, Raymond Botti of Winchendon; and several nieces and nephews. A son, Erik E. Paquin, predeceased her.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
