WINCHENDON – Jason P. Hurton, 36, of 391 Maple Street, formerly of Hopkinton, died Tuesday evening, August 18, from complications of a chronic illness.
He was born in Lynn, MA on June 28, 1979, son of Philip M. and Jane E. (Holloway) Hurton of Hopkinton and graduated from Joseph P. Keefe Technical High School in Framingham. He had lived in Winchendon for three years after moving from Hopkinton.
Jason worked as a carpenter and served the Town of Winchendon as a call Firefighter/EMT and had previously served the towns of Hopkinton and Upton. His hobbies included scuba diving, underwater photography, and repelling.
In addition to his parents, he leaves his wife of ten years Karen Armstrong Hurton; his brothers, Philip M. Hurton Jr of Hopkinton and Timothy E. Hurton and his wife Samantha of Holliston, his grandmother, Mary Holloway of Lynn and a nephew, Henry P. Hurton.
Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Saturday, August 22nd from 3 to 6 P.M. A firefighter service will be held at 5:30 P.M.
