Jennie M. (Dellasanta) Donati

WINCHENDON - Jennie M. (Dellasanta) Donati, 90, of 47 North Street, Winchendon, died peacefully Wednesday afternoon, December 3rd, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner. She was born in Grafton, MA. on September 27,1918, the daughter of the late Attilio and Anita (DeSanti) Dellasanta, and had lived in Winchendon for most of her life. Jennie operated the former Jennie's Beauty Salon in Winchendon for 50 years until her retirement. She loved children and enjoyed Italian cooking, reading, and caring for her late husband. Her husband of 56 years, Ettore L. "Bucky" Donati, died in 1997. She leaves a son, Bruce A. Donati of Rindge, N.H.; a sister, Dena M. Radicioni of Virginia Beach, VA. and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Primo N. Dellasanta, who died in 1990 and Renzo J. Dellasanta, who died in 1995 and a sister, Eva L. Belanger, who died in 2007. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6th at 11 A.M. in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Francis A. Roberge will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Saturday, December 6th from 10 to 11 A.M. preceding the funeral.
