John V. LaCasse

December 16, 1933 — September 10, 2019

ORANGE – John V. LaCasse, 85, of Orange, died Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Brighton.

He was born in Wilton, NH on December 16, 1933, son of the late David and Glenice (Burnham) LaCasse and grew up in Wilton.  He lived in Orange since 2003 after living for many years in Fitchburg.

John proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War.  He worked in maintenance for various plastics companies, retiring from Micron Products in Fitchburg.

John was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots and was a member of the American Legion.

He leaves his wife of 44 years, Loretta F. (Boudreau) LaCasse; four children, Roger D. LeBlanc and his wife Marianne of Brockton, Joyce Murphy and her husband Daniel of Danville, NH, Sandra J. Roth and her husband David of Fitchburg and Katherine A. Rock and her husband Rick of Palmer; a sister, Ethel LaCasse of Milford, NH; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son Richard LeBlanc and a brother Roy LaCasse.

Military funeral services will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 3 P.M. in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.

A reception will follow at Eugene M. Connor Post 193 American Legion, 295 School Street, Winchendon.
