Judith Emma (Miller) Misner, 86, died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
She was born in Gardner on March 23, 1938, a daughter of the late Maurice A. and Yvonne (Deschenes) Miller. She graduated from Templeton High School in 1956, and from the Heywood Hospital School of Nursing in 1959. She worked at Heywood Hospital as a private duty nurse and for 32 years at the former Gardner Manor. She also was the financial secretary for many years at the Bethany Bible Church.
She leaves her three children, Brian A. Misner and his wife Kelly, Teri (Misner) Gallagher, and Traci (Misner) Bailey and her husband Brad; nine grandchildren, Grace, Ashleigh, Andrew, Amanda, Jenna, Cole, Hannah, Paige, and Dylan; five great-grandchildren, one brother, Herbert Davis, two sisters, Eunice Dymek and Claire Pray and lots of nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Allen B. Misner, a brother M. Bruce Miller, a daughter-in-law, Bobbi-Lynn Misner, and a son-in-law, Michael Gallagher.
She was a member of the Bethany Bible Church, the Narragansett Historical Society, the American Legion Auxiliary, She enjoyed knitting, reading, the Red Sox, Celtics, and the Patriots. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Judith will have calling hours on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 5 - 7 pm at Stone- Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 4 pm at Bethany Bible Church, 727 Spring Street, Winchendon, MA.
