WINCHENDON – Judith A. (Cutler) Chalke, 72, of 74 Autumn Road, Fitchburg, a former long-time resident of Winchendon, died peacefully Tuesday, June 4th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, with her family at her side.
She was born in Winchendon on February 26, 1941, daughter of the late Lafayette N. and Irene F. (Downey) Cutler and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon.
Judy enjoyed doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles, as well as reading and walking. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all, who came in contact with her.
She leaves her children, Brian Cutler Sr of Winchendon, Scott Vaillancourt Sr and his wife Janet of New Ville, PA, Randy Vaillancourt of Gardner, Rick Chalke and his companion Karen of Fitzwilliam, NH, Belinda Chalke of Jaffrey, NH and Tracy Chalke and her companion Bill Covey of Winchendon; two brothers, Donald Cutler and his wife Marie of Baldwinville and Robert Cutler and his wife Eva of Hudson, FL; 21 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A daughter, Carla Jean Chalke and two grandchildren, Patrick Scott Vaillancourt and Brandy Kay Cutler predeceased her.
Private graveside services will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon.
