RINDGE, NH – Judith M. (Robideau) Gauthier, 72, of 535 Forristall Road, Rindge, NH, died unexpectedly Friday evening, February 18 th in Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH.
She was born in Marlborough, MA on November 8, 1938, the daughter of the late George F. and Elsie (Huntoon) Robideau and had lived in Rindge for several years. She had previously lived in Winchendon for many years.
Judy worked at the former Livingston Manufacturing in Winchendon as its general manager for several years and later worked at Bellecraft Woodworking Co in Winchendon until her retirement at the age of 65. Many years ago, she worked at Ray Plastics. She was a graduate of Orange High School. Her hobbies included playing video games, doing puzzles and playing card games. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family. Judy was a former member of the Winchendon Rod and Gun Club.
She was the wife of the late Alfred J. Gauthier. Judy leaves five children, Laurie M. Johnson of Winchendon, Laura J. Draeger and her husband Eric of Jaffrey, NH, Mary A. Desmond and her husband Steven of Winchendon, BobbyJo Cartee and her husband Brian of Rindge and Paulette L. Lemere and her husband DJ of Athol; 12 grandchildren, Cheyenne Adams, Erik Adams, Brandy Woodard, Erica Royal, Jayson Desmond, Jessica Desmond, the late Carl “CJ” Cartee, Francesca Cartee, Jeffery Hanshaw, Jordan O’Donnell, Christopher O’Donnell and Carrie O’Donnell; three brothers, George Robideau of Athol, James Robideau of Athol and Michael Robideau of New York; three sisters, Gail Donaway of Winchendon, Nancy Young of Florida and Karen Lenoise of Florida; five great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 26 th at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Jay Lillie will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will follow at The Carriage House Restaurant, 660 Spring Street, Winchendon.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon in the spring.
