TEMPLETON: Karen M. (Kennedy) Parker, 55, of 18 Vernon Street, Baldwinville, died peacefully at her residence Monday morning, December 31st, with her family at her side.
She was born in Gardner on May 4, 1957, daughter of Raymond A. and Frances L. (Fitzpatrick) Kennedy of Templeton and lived in this area for her entire life.
Karen was a graduate of Narragansett Regional High School and worked for more than five years in environmental services at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge. She stopped working in 2010. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of The Assemblies of God. She enjoyed four wheeling , crocheting and knitting and especially treasured time with her family, making everyone’s life brighter.
In addition to her parents, Karen is survived by her husband of five years, Raymond A. Parker; one daughter, Michelle A. McCrillis of Gardner; two grandchildren, Julianna McCrillis and Abigail McFarland; one sister, Sharron L. Lovell of Gardner; one brother, Raymond A. Kennedy Jr. and his wife Rochelle of Baldwinville and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5th at 11 A.M. in Cornerstone Church of The Assemblies of God, 122 Gardner Road, Winchendon. The Rev. Jay Lillie will officiate.
Calling hours will be held in Cornerstone Church of the Assemblies of God Saturday from 10 to 11 A.M.
