Kathleen T. LaPierre

WINCHENDON - Kathleen T. "Kay" (Morlock) LaPierre, 81, of 128B Ipswich Drive, Winchendon, died peacefully Tuesday evening, August 5th in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Gardner. She was born in Winchendon on February 13,1927, the daughter of John H. and Inez (Elliott) Morlock and returned to Winchendon in 2006 after living previously in Gardner. Kay was a bank teller for many banks in this area until her retirement. She was a 1945 graduate of Murdock High School. Kay was a member of the Chestnut Street United Methodist Church and the Gardner Municipal Golf Course, both in Gardner. In addition to enjoying golf, she also enjoyed gardening. Her husband of 55 years, Clifton E. LaPierre, Jr., died in 2004. She leaves two children, Alan G. LaPierre of Gardner and Sandra J. Huffman of Conway, S.C., and a grandson Gabriel Huffman. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon. There are no calling hours.
