WINCHENDON – Kathy A. (Moylan) Jalbert, 62, of Winchendon, died Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital, with her family at her side, following a short illness.
She was born in Winchendon on March 16, 1960, daughter of the late John F. Moylan, who died in 1999 and Gloria F. (Tenney) Moylan, who died January 29th. She was a lifelong resident of Winchendon.
Kathy worked in food preparation and as a kitchen and cafeteria worker for the Winchendon Public School System, Cushing Academy, Carriage House Restaurant and the Harbour Restaurant. She had most recently worked at the West End Beagle Club as well as providing personal housekeeping and healthcare. Kathy was a former hockey mom and had worked as a bus driver H & R Transport many years ago. Kathy loved the beach and ocean, camping and spending time at Ocean Park, Maine. She loved nature and spending time in her vegetable and flower gardens and trips to Moosehead, ME. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. She was a member of West End Beagle Club and its Women’s Auxiliary.
She leaves her husband of 35 years, Jacques Jalbert; two sons, Jared Jalbert and wife Brandi and Todd Jalbert; a grandson, Robert Barrett White; a brother, John F. Moylan II and his wife Sheryl of Woodbury, CT; two nieces, Brianna Santora and husband Joseph and Lindsey Moylan; one nephew, John F. Moylan III, three sisters in law, ten brothers in law and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Calling hours for both Kathy and her mother Gloria Moylan will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 5 to 7 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.
Funeral services for Kathy and Gloria will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:30 A.M. in Cornerstone Church Assemblies of God, 122 Gardner Road, Winchendon.
