WINCHENDON - Keith P. Gilbert Sr, 55, of 199 Mill Street, Winchendon went home to the Lord on Saturday, October 10th. He was born in Winthrop, the son of the late Kenneth and Rita (Cunning) Gilbert and had lived in Winchendon for eleven years, after spending most of his life in the Boston Area. Keith worked as an account manager for various institutions until his retirement. A graduate of Winthrop High School, Keith also attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy. A man of strong Christian beliefs, Keith enjoyed reading the Bible and was a member of Peoples Congregational Church in Ashburnham. He was a former member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fitchburg. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and enjoyed woodworking and working with his hands. He leaves his wife of 27 years, Ramona M. Campbell-Gilbert; three children, Keith P. Gilbert Jr. of Worcester, Michael Gilbert of Bristol, NH and Danielle Gilbert of Rhode Island; a stepson Alexander Campbell of Winchendon; three brothers, Kenneth Gilbert Jr. of Rochester, NH, Richard Gilbert of Diamond Point, NY and Kevin Gilbert of VT, four grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 31st at 11:30 A.M. in Peoples Congregational Church, 56 South Main Street, Ashburnham. The Rev. Dan Allen will officiate. Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Friday, October 30th from 6 to 8 P.M.
