RINDGE, NH- Kenneth W. Charlonne, 73, of Rindge, died Monday, August, 19, 2013, in his home after an illness.
He was born May 12, 1940, son of the late Rosario Charlonne and the late Mary (Davis) Charlonne. Ken worked as an inspector and threader operator for W.W. Cross Company in Jaffrey for many years before his retirement. He was an honorary member of the Rindge Fire Department and loved the Red Sox. He was a hard worker and enjoyed wood working among his many other talents.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Judy (LaRochelle) Charlonne in 1978.
He leaves his wife of 30 years, Muriel (Provencher) Charlonne; two sons, Kenneth Charlonne Jr. and his wife, Marguerite of Temecula, CA, and Daniel Charlonne and his wife, Tiffany of New Ipswich, NH; one daughter, Christy Rice and her husband, Skip of Winchendon, MA; seven grandchildren, Daniel Charlonne Jr., Kayleigh Charlonne, Hayleigh LaCroix, Harley Charlonne, Aileen Charlonne, Cory Rice, and Kayla Rice; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Rosalie Roberts, Janet Roberts and her husband, Norman, and Gloria Fredette and her husband, Bob, all of Winchendon; a brother-in-law, Bob Provencher and his wife, Ampy of Gardner; one sister-in-law, Laura Darling and her husband, Steven of Gardner; many nieces and nephews.
The Memorial service will be held Sunday, August 25, at 12:00 Noon with a calling hour preceding the service Sunday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon in the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central St., Winchendon, MA. Burial will be private.
In keeping with Ken’s personality, casual dress is welcome.
