WINCHENDON – Kenneth G. Page, 87, of 77 Grove Street, Winchendon, died peacefully Sunday morning, December 2nd in Heywood Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Gardner of March 5, 1925, son of the late George and Alfreda (LaRoche) Page and lived in Winchendon for most of his life.

He leaves his wife of 62 years, Yvonne (Ashmore) Page; six children, Brian Page and his wife Carol of Pittsburgh, PA, Deborah Colten and her husband Michael of Leominster, Denise Gendron, Doreen Page and Baxter Page of Winchendon and Bradley Page and his wife Sandra of Fredericksburg, VA; three grandchildren, Melissa DiConza and her husband John of Ashburnham, Clayton Gendron and his wife Jieying of Winchendon and Nicholas Page of Fredericksburg, VA and a great granddaughter Gianna DiConza of Ashburnham.  He was predeceased by a grandson, Brian Page 2nd and a sister, May Anderson.

Ken was a graduate of Murdock High School and served in U.S Army during World War Two.  He was the oldest living life member of Eugene M. Connor Post 193 American Legion.  He had been the co-owner of the former PAD-Y-AN Restaurant for over 25 years.  He was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and had worked at the Winchendon Post Office.  He enjoyed collecting coins, crossword puzzles, watching sports and spending time with his family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 5th at 11 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

There are no calling hours.
