WINCHENDON - Kenneth H. Ronco, 61, of 45 Academy Street, Winchendon, died early Saturday, July 8th in his home, after an illness. He was born in Winchendon on January 15,1945, the son of Howard A. and M. Corinne (Cote) Ronco, and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon. Ken was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Fitchburg with the Class of 1962 and Fitchburg State College. He was an English teacher at Athol-Royalston Regional High School for 36 years before his retirement in 2003. He was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and was a member of the New England Teachers Association. He was a former member of the Winchendon Zoning Board. Ken enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles and yard work. Ken leaves his wife of 40 years, Donna R. (Lennerton) Ronco; a son, Ryan L. Ronco of Malden; a daughter, Renee J. Lupien of Winchendon; a brother, Harry E. Lattrell of Winchendon; a sister, Barbara J. Niemela of Citrus Hills, FL.; two grandchildren, Isaac J. Lupien and Dylan J. Lupien, both of Winchendon, and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 13th from the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday, July 12th from 6 to 8 P.M.
