GARDNER – Kenneth L. Gemme, 46, of 6 Maple Street, Gardner died peacefully at his residence Friday, March 14th.
He was born in Fitchburg on August 6, 1967, son of Rose-Marie J. (Lussier) Gemme of Winchendon and the late Leon L. Gemme, and lived in Winchendon for most of his life.
Ken was a graduate of Murdock High School and then proudly served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. Following his military service, he entered college and graduated from Fitchburg State College. Ken worked in the field of safety training and worked for Staples, Chem Design and Top Flight during his working career. He had an extensive music collection and was an avid fresh water fisherman.
In addition to his mother, he leaves a brother, Matthew A. Gemme and his wife Stephanie of Winchendon; three sisters, Amanda L. Gemme of Winchendon, Amy R. Snyder and her husband Alan of Athol and Rebecca J. Ross of Athol; his nieces and nephews, Brittany LaPointe, Jean-Luc LaPointe, Lindsey Gemme, Logan Gemme, Madison Fifield, Sandie Ross and Noelan Wilson, as well as his godmother, Annette Rollo and her husband Dr. Mark Rollo of Fitchburg.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 20th from 6 to 8 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.
Military funeral services will be held Friday, March 21st at 3 P.M. in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
