Lea (Baviera) Travaglini

WINCHENDON - Lea (Baviera) Travaglini, 84, of Winchendon, formerly of East Orange, New Jersey, died peacefully Monday morning, October 25th in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner.
She was born in Fano, Italy on October 28, 1925 and moved to this country at the age of 17. Lea lived in Jaffrey many years ago, where she was a housekeeper at different times for the Bean and Shearer families. She later lived in Winchendon before moving to East Orange, New Jersey, where she lived for 46 years and had worked as a waitress. In September of this year, she returned to this area.
She leaves her husband of 61 years, Dante T. Travaglini; a nephew in Italy, Giancarlo Rossi, and local nephews and nieces, James T. Tolo Jr., Rene P. Helie Jr., Susan Giardini, Michael Travaglini and Joseph Travaglini. A sister, Lena Rossi, predeceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 28th at 11 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Thursday, October 28th from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
