Lillian E. Price

WINCHENDON - Lillian E. (Vezzani) Price, 96, of 33 Drake Road, Fitchburg and a former long-time resident of Winchendon, died Tuesday, August 16th in the Sterling Health Care, Sterling. She was born in Gardner on May 7,1909, the daughter of Oney and Rose Agnes (Mazziott) Vezzani and had lived in Winchendon for over 50 years before moving to DeLeon Springs, Florida, where she lived until moving back to this area in 1998. Mrs. Price owned and operated the former Sunset Dairy Bar in Winchendon with her late husband. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and was a Past President of the Winchendon Womens Club. She was a graduate of Gardner High School. Her husband of 67 years, Raymond R. "Red" Price, died in 1999. She leaves a son, Donald R. Price of Woolwich, Maine; a daughter, June B. Young of Fitchburg; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Eight brothers and sisters predeceased her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, August 20th in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon will be from 9:30-10:30 A.M. Saturday, preceding the funeral.
