WINCHENDON – Lillian L. (Young) Grasmuck, 68, of 202 Lincoln Avenue, Winchendon, died peacefully Monday morning, November 28th in UMASS Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, with her family at her side.
She was born in Winchendon on July 22, 1943, the daughter of the late John Edward and Mary Jane (Fisher) Young. She graduated from Murdock High School in 1961 and lived in her home town of Winchendon for her entire life.
Lillian worked for 23 years as a customer service representative in the Jaffrey, NH branch of TD North, where she loved her customers. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Lillian enjoyed knitting and found her greatest enjoyment spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband William F. Grasmuck Jr, with whom she celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last month; two children, William J. Grasmuck and Justine D. Grasmuck of Winchendon; a grandson Krystopher Grasmuck of Gardner; three sisters, Justine Gauthier of Torrington, CT, Evelyn Rudy of Worcester and Sandra Dellasanta of Winchendon; three brothers, Truffle Young of Corpus Christi, Texas, Clement Young of Templeton and Tommy Young of Southbridge and many nephews and nieces. A son, Robert Scott Grasmuck, predeceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 5th at 10 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
