Baldwinville

Lisa Beauvais, born in Winchendon, MA, on June 12, 1963, was a beacon of perseverance, creativity, and human spirit. She was never defined by the boundaries of her circumstances but rather by her indomitable spirit and the love she shared with those around her. As a volunteer at Beal's Memorial Library, Lisa was a vibrant addition to the community she so cherished. Her affinity for adult coloring books was a testament to the meticulous care she took in all her endeavors, her artistry a reflection of her colorful spirit. She was recognized by the Town of Winchendon's Board of Selectmen on June  28, 2014 as Lisa Beauvais Day for all of her accomplishments. As the renowned author, Maya Angelou once said, "You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have." Lisa's life was a testament to this philosophy, her creative spirit always in abounding supply.

Lisa was a proud graduate of Gardner High School's CAPS Collaborative Program in 1984 and an attendee of Cardinal Cushing School in Hanover. Her achievements were not limited to academics, Lisa was a bronze medalist in swimming at the Special Olympics held at the University of Michigan, a tribute to her tenacity and unyielding spirit. Her family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Dr. John Harrington, the Staff of Care Central Hospice in Gardner, and all of Lisa's caregivers at the Baldwinville House, for their kindness, compassion, and dedication. It is they who ensured that the final years of Lisa's life were filled with the same love and care she had always offered to those around her.

She is survived by her loving mother, Theresa Beauvais; her siblings, Joyce M. Beauvais, James C. (Phyllis) Beauvais, Linda B. (James) Fenlason, Joanne' B. (Gary) Slavin;  and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her father, Clifford Beauvais and a brother Christopher J. Beauvais.
