Luc R. Daigle

December 29, 1961 — November 13, 2024

Gardner

With heartache, yet fond recollections, we honor the memory of Luc R. Daigle, known affectionately as Lucas, Louie da bagel, and Dad, who departed this world on November 13, 2024. Born on December 29, 1961, in Sherbrooke, QC, Canada, Luc carried the resilient spirit and the humble charm of his birthplace throughout his 62 years, making a lasting imprint on the hearts of those he encountered.

Luc, a dedicated heavy machinery mechanic at MBW inc for over 20 years, was recognized for his exceptional skill and commitment. His retirement did not dampen his passion for the field. Known for his humorous nature, Luc had an unparalleled ability to uplift anyone around him, filling their lives with laughter and joy. A devoted member of the Royalston Fish and Game Club, he embodied the love for nature, often found fishing or bird watching, cherishing the simplicity and tranquility those moments offered.

Luc was a man of deep faith, being raised catholic and then becoming actively involved Second Congregational Church of South Royalston for the last five years, with hopes of becoming a trustee. The verse from Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight," was a guiding principle for Luc, reflecting his undying trust in God and his faith-driven life.

Above all, Luc valued his family and friends, leaving behind his cherished daughter Emilie of Sterling, beloved son Jordan of Abington, granddaughter McKenzie of Abington, brother Guy of Gardner, sisters Joanne of Florida and Nancy of Gardner, and his uncles and aunt JP, Ben and Sonia Lemelin of Quebec as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Guy and Pierrette Daigle.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 12 - 2 pm at Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The service will follow at the same location at 2 pm.

We invite all who knew Luc to share their memories, stories, and photographs on his memorial page at www.mackfamilyfh.com, to keep his spirit alive in our hearts and minds. In each shared memory, we find comfort, knowing that Luc's life was filled with love, laughter, and the joy of the outdoors he so dearly loved.

Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, Kevin J. Mack, Walter C. Taylor Directors, have the honor of handling the arrangements.
