Mabel M. Zuppa

GARDNER - Mabel M. (Bartone) Zuppa, 68, of 125 Connors Street, died peacefully Friday, October 15, 2021 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner with her family at her side.

She was born in Boston on February 17, 1953, daughter of the late Michael and Mabel (Rank) Bartone and moved to Gardner in 1981.

Mabel had worked for many years as a secretary and had also worked as a stenographer in the local court system.  A very selfless and loving person, she devoted her life to being a wonderful mother and grandmother. An avid walker, Mabel enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift shops.  She was an avid crocheter and also enjoyed crafts.  She possessed a green thumb and enjoyed gardening.

She leaves two children, Stephanie T. Zuppa and her husband Shaun Dame of Winchendon and Thomas S. Zuppa of Winchendon and four grandchildren, Jeffrey Hill, Brendan Zuppa, Chace Zuppa and Addison Zuppa.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to a local food pantry in her memory.
