WINCHENDON – Madeline A.”Maddy” (Sibley) May, 67, of 337 Front Street, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, February 23rd in UMASS Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, with her family at her side, following a short illness..
A lifelong resident of Winchendon, she was born on February 12, 1949, daughter of the late Robert J. and Dorothy Mae (Brow) Sibley. Maddy was a 1967 graduate of Murdock High School.
Maddy worked for thirty years at TFX Medical in Jaffrey, NH until her retirement in 2012. She was a member of Eugene M. Connor Post #193 Ladies Auxiliary. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She leaves two daughters, Tracy L. Pelkey and her husband Dwayne and Lisa A. May and her significant other Laurie Johnson; two grandchildren, Spencer Pelkey and Leah Pelkey; her siblings, Betty J. Blodgett and her husband Richard, Mary Lou Johnson and her husband Philip, Kevin Sibley and his wife Alice, and Merri-Jo Sibley-Leger and her husband Richard, all of Winchendon as well as many nieces and nephews. Her brother, Ronald Sibley, died last year.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27th at 11:30 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street.
Calling hours will precede the funeral Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M.
