WINCHENDON - Margaret I. "Peggy" (Quinlisk) Cass, 72, of 80 Linden Street, Winchendon, died peacefully Sunday morning, April 18th, in her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Templeton on April 9,1938, the daughter of Elsie (Haley) Quinlisk of Winchendon and the late Edward Quinlisk and had lived in Winchendon for six years. She previously lived in Gardner for many years. Peggy was an inspector for 17 years at the former Nichols and Stone Furniture Company in Gardner until her retirement. She attended the former Templeton High School. Peggy enjoyed collecting Snow Babies, playing games on her computer, and camping in her earlier years. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family. In addition to her mother, she leaves three children, Debra Reynolds and her husband Paul of Winchendon, Gary Allen and his wife Kathleen of Gardner and Donald Allen Jr and his wife Susan of Hubbardston; a sister, Shirley Gautreau and her husband Real of Texas; five grandchildren, Melissa, Sheila, Nicholas, Lindsay and Matthew; six great grandchildren, Zachary, Breanna, Britney, Anthony, Alyssa and Gina; her significant other, Gerald T. Flavell of Winchendon, and a very dear and close friend, Olive Blodgett of Winchendon. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 22nd at 11 A.M. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Templeton. The Rev. Dr. R. Gary Heikkila will officiate. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA. 01701.
