Marie B. (Cloutier) Stedman

WINCHENDON - Marie B. (Cloutier) Stedman, 93, formerly of 111 Hitchcock Road, Winchendon, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, May 2nd in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner. She was born in East Jaffrey, NH on July 29,1916, daughter of the late Albert and Hermaine (Castonguay) Cloutier and lived in Winchendon for many years until moving to Gardner four years ago. Marie was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church and its Putnam Alliance, Winchendon Garden Club, Eugene M. Connor Post 193 American Legion Auxiliary, all of Winchendon, and the Worcester County Bee Keepers Association. Her husband of 62 years, Clifton B. Stedman, whom she married on March 31,1944, died in 2006. She is survived by a step-brother, Wilbur Cloutier and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Odina M. Sullivan, Hermaine Blanchette, Albert Cloutier, Yvonne Dutchess, Jane Elizabeth DiLillo and John Cloutier. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 6th at 1 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Marguerite Sheehan will officiate. There are no calling hours.
