GARDNER – Mark Robichaud, 68, of Gardner died peacefully Saturday, November 15th, with his family at his side, after a short illness. His family came first, being a loving husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Justine S. (Chila) Robichaud; children, Clare L. (Robichaud) Anderson, Paul R. Robichaud and his wife Krista, Veronica L. (Robichaud) Derby and her husband David, Anjannette M. Robichaud, and Joseph C. Robichaud and wife Danielle; grandchildren, Olivia R. Anderson, Daniel R. Robichaud, MaryClare E. Anderson, Risa E. Connors, Anna J. Connors, Sadie L. Anderson, Nora M. Connors, Thaddeus A. Derby, Bella T. Derby, Chloe C. Robichaud, Calvert P.T. Robichaud, Amelia W. Robichaud and Benjamin J. Robichaud. He also leaves his siblings, Dale (Robichaud) Richard and David Robichaud, as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Mark was born in Winchendon on August 11, 1946, son of the late Bella Therese (Lafortune) Robichaud and George Berthel Robichaud. He graduated from Murdock High School in 1964. From 1968 to 1972 he served in the United States Marine Corps. From there he worked at Colonial Press in Clinton, MA, where he met Justine. He had a long career with LaVigne Press of Worcester and later worked at DS Graphics until he became ill.
Mark loved music, an influence he had amongst all of his grandchildren, with most of them instrumentally involved. He enjoyed cooking, reading and movies. He had an exceptional sense of humor. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was loved by everyone. He was a man, who was dedicated to doing everything right the first time, working hard and taking responsibility. Learning to be the best “you” you can be.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
