Marshall Louis Honeycutt

RICHFIELD, N.C. - Marshall Louis Honeycutt, 76, died of heart failure on July 28, 2008 at his home in Richfield, North Carolina. He was born on August 24, 1931 in Concord, North Carolina the son of Alex Fetzer and Mamie Modella (Parnell) Honeycutt. He served in the U.S. Army. He was one of thirteen children survived by his brother James Walter Honeycutt of Mt. Pleasant, NC; and sisters Madie Lou Benfield of Mt. Pleasant, NC; Betty Jane Almond of Kannapolis, NC; Nancy Bernice Barbie; and Mary Ellen Honeycutt. He was predeceased by his brothers Elmer Honeycutt, John Henry Honeycutt, Clifford Williams Honeycutt , Robert Lee Honeycutt and sisters Bertha Mae Baker, Elma Louise Honeycutt, and Gladys Green. He leaves behind seven children. He was survived by his first wife, Linda Fernandez and their children, Michael Honeycutt of Land O Lakes, FL and Patricia (Ingram) Lewis of Brooksville, FL. Predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Catherine Johanna (Nolan) Honeycutt and survived by their children, Kathleen Payson of Chisasibi Canada, Barbara Fisher of Fitzwilliam, NH, Marsha Poor of Rindge, NH, Mary LaChance of Wilton, NH, and Betty Como of Clinton, MA. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, Laura and Danny Fisher, Christopher Honeycutt, Jesse, Isaac and Carolyn Como, Jeffrey Tracy, Pisulak Papialuk,Dori Lynn Ingram-Bailey, Jeremy Ingram and Devin Poor. He was mechanically inclined and worked for many years as a machinist. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and later in life he enjoyed working with computers. Private graveside service for family will be held on Monday, August 4, 2008 in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire.
