Mary A. (Duval) Ricard White

WINCHENDON - Mary A. (Duval) Ricard White, 104, of 80 Woodlawn Street, Winchendon died peacefully Wednesday morning, December 30th in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner. She was born in Winchendon on July 6,1905, the daughter of the late Octave and Emma (Kirouac) Duval and returned to Winchendon in 2005. Mary was a machine operator for several years at New Hampshire Ball Bearings in Peterborough, NH until her retirement. She previously had worked many years ago at White Brothers Mill, Mason and Parker Co. and General Box Co. She enjoyed snowmobiling, casinos and dancing into her 80's. Before returning to Winchendon, Mary lived in Rindge for 48 years and in Oregon for six years. Mary was predeceased by her two husbands. Her first husband of 14 years, Antonio E. Ricard, died in 1939 and her second husband of 42 years, Herbert L. White, died in 1999. She was also predeceased by a son, Antonio E. Ricard Sr, who died in 1995, a daughter Bernadette A. Davis, who died in 2005, as well as five brothers and five sisters. She leaves four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. At her request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Winchendon. Memorial donations may be made to Wachusett Manor Nursing Home Patients Activities Fund, 32 Hospital Hill Road, Gardner, MA. 01440.
