Mary H. (Repischak) Roberts

WINCHENDON – Mary H. (Repischak) Roberts, 101, of Apopka, FL and a former long-time resident of Winchendon, died peacefully Saturday morning, June 21st in Sunbelt Health and Rehab Center, Apopka.

She was born in Czechoslovakia on September 28, 1912, daughter of the late Stepen and Mary ((Polofka) Repischak and had lived in Winchendon for many years until moving to Florida in 2003.

Mary worked as a stitcher for many years at the former Winchendon Fashions until her retirement.  She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and Winchendon Golden Age Club.  Mary enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

Her husband of 52 years, Leon H. Roberts, died in 1994.  She leaves a son Leon A. “Sonny” Roberts and his wife Judy of Zellwood, FL; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  A brother, Stepen Repischak, preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 27th at 10 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
