Mary T. Kilfoyle

WINCHENDON – Mary T. (Mossey) Kilfoyle, 91, of 554 Hale Street, died peacefully Sunday evening, May 5, 2019 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, with her family at her side.

She was born in Roxbury, MA on May 16, 1927, daughter of the late Domenic and Anastasia (McMullen) Mossey and was a graduate of St. Josephs High School.  Mary had lived in Winchendon since 1981.

Mary was lady with a giving heart.  She enjoyed people’s company, reading, loved animals and doing crossword puzzles.  She was a music fan and loved listening to Irish tenors.  She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to New York City, attending music concerts and local plays.

Her husband of 47 years, Donald L. Kilfoyle, died in 1994.  She leaves four children, Lee A. Monroe and her husband John of Pepperell, Dana C. Kilfoyle of Winchendon, Kyle A. Kilfoyle of Winchendon and Amy D. King of Townsend; a sister, Marguerite Byrne and her husband Jim of Winchendon; a daughter –in-law Julie Kilfoyle of Leominster, six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son Dana’s girlfriend, Patricia McHugh, in 2018.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11th at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.  A calling hour will precede the funeral Saturday from 10 to 11 A.M.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
