WINCHENDON – Melissa L. (Kinner) Fortunato, 48, of 45 Joslin Road, died unexpectedly while vacationing in Jamaica on May 21, 2021.
She was born in Ware, MA on October 23, 1972, daughter of Elaine D. (Richard) Kinner of Winchendon and the late Harry “Skip” Kinner. She was a graduate of Murdock High School and had lived in Winchendon for most of her life.
Melissa worked as Office Manager at Girouard Tool Corp. in Leominster. She loved being outside and enjoyed summer fires, country concerts, vacationing and being surrounded by family and friends.
In addition to her mother, she leaves a daughter, Katlin Bosworth and her significant other Garrett LeBlanc of Winchendon and Joseph Fortunato Jr. of Gardner; two sisters, Crystal J. Robertson and her husband Darrin of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Trisha L. Race and her significant other Joseph Boisvert of Winchendon; two grandsons Ryen Bosworth and Ryder LeBlanc; her significant other Eric Kenney; nieces and nephews Mariah, Max, Jayla, Andrew, Sophia, and Rebekah and many close friends.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 5 to 7 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.
A private burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery.
