GARDNER – Melissa Moriah (Clark) Formica, of Gardner, Massachusetts, died unexpectedly on April 3, 2014 at the age of 24.
Melissa was born in Worcester on February 21, 1991. She was enrolled at Mount Wachusett Community College and worked as a Home Health Aide at Ace Medical Services in Leominster. She was known for her love for animals and was especially passionate about horses.
Melissa was the mother of two beautiful children, Keegan age 2 and Sophia age 1. Her children were the most important part of her life. She cherished her time with them by reading stories, making puzzles and crafts. The most special moments they shared included their evening routine of Melissa singing while rocking them before bed.
She leaves behind her loving family, which includes her parents, Robert and Nancy Clark, who encouraged her to be the best person she could be. Her sister, Shayna provided constant, unconditional love and support that never wavered. Her brother, Cody Duval, was always willing to lend a helping hand with the children. She will be deeply missed by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday evening, April 10th from 5 to 7 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.
