Michael M. Boucher

On July 1st, 2024, Michael Mark Boucher passed away in his Ashburnham home. Michael, born in Leominster, Massachusetts on December 8, 1962, was a beacon of strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication. His life was a masterclass in living with grace and humility, and he left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

After serving in the army, Michael became a prolific mechanical engineer, who dedicated his professional life to Baxter Medical. He successfully submitted multiple patents during his tenure, and was a constant source of traditional and institutional wisdom. He loved photography, kayaking, tinkering, and spending time walking and exploring with his family and dog, Daisy.

He was a loving husband to Nancy and a proud father to his children, Jacob and Rebecca. Michael was also a cherished brother to David Boucher and Karen Edgerton-Read, and devoted son to Yvonne Boucher. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Boucher.

Michael always prioritized his family and was beloved by and inspired them all. His unerring support and perseverance will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. He remained independent and deeply caring throughout his life, and never gave up on those things which mattered most.

The graveside service to honor Michael's life will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, Massachusetts, 01475. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us as we bid farewell to a remarkable, irreplaceable man.
