Michael B. Thane

WINCHENDON - Michael B. Thane, 31, of 202 Glenallen Street, Winchendon died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 19th. He was born in Gardner on June 25, 1978, the son of the late Brian Thane and Barbara (Owen) Thane Sawyer, attended Murdock High School in Winchendon, and had lived in Winchendon for most of his life. A devoted father, Mike's greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his two sons. He enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, ice fishing, camping, his PEZ collection, reading and playing Xbox with his sons. Music was also a big part of his life. Mike was happily awaiting the birth of his new baby on the way. He was a glazer until recently for Amazing Glazing Co in Athol. He leaves two sons, Bradley J. Thane and Bryce J. Thane, both of Gardner; two brothers, Keith M. Thane and his wife Andrea L. Thane of Winchendon and Brian K. Owen of Winchendon; two sisters, Alicia Van Hillo of Townsend and Tanya Colon of New Jersey; his beloved Priscilla Tambolleo and their unborn baby; his grandmother, Elizabeth Owen of Bath, Maine; his step father Joseph Sawyer of Southbridge and several stepbrothers and sister, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces, and the mother of his children, Stephanie Brownell of Gardner.
