ASHBURNHAM - Michael Budd Catlin, 55, of 43 Lincoln Avenue, Ashburnham, passed away Monday, May 24th at home, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Joanne Simila Catlin; a daughter, Kylie Ruschioni and son-in-law Vinnie; two sons, Jake; Michael and daughter-in-law Leah and granddaughter Finley. He also leaves his parents Budd and Carolyn Catlin; two brothers, Thomas and his wife Jean, and Jim and his wife Megan. He was preceded in his death by his sister, Nancy. Mike was president and owner of MB Catlin & Associates, working as a sales representative in the wire industry. Previously, he was employed at Morgan-Koch, Worcester. Mike was a member and ranger at the Winchendon Golf Course and Oak Hill Country Club, Fitchburg. An avid golfer, Mike once shot a hole-in-one on the 5th hole at Oak Hill Country Club. He was a talented woodworker, building Adirondack chairs and nautical art. He also enjoyed gardening and yard work. Mike was a graduate of Pittsford High School in Pittsford, NY and attended State University of New York in Brockport, NY. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns. For 26 years, Mike had lived in Ashburnham. He was involved in the community, coaching many youth teams. His deepest joy was spending time with family and friends. His passion for his faith, politics, family and life will be greatly missed. In celebration of his life, there will be a memorial service at the Ashburnham Community Church, 9 Chapel Street, Ashburnham on Friday, May 28th at 11 A.M. There are no calling hours.
