WINCHENDON – Michele M. (Lizotte) Stoddard, 71, of 22 Carriage Lane, Winchendon, died peacefully Saturday morning, October 5th in Legend Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner.
She was born in Winchendon on February 2, 1942, daughter of the late Alfred and Dorothea (Slack) Lizotte and lived her entire life in Winchendon.
Michele worked for 25 years as a machine operator at New Hampshire Ball Bearings in Peterborough, NH. She had also worked as a cafeteria worker at The Winchendon School and Cushing Academy. Her close knit family was especially important to her.
Her husband of 52 years, Philip G. Stoddard, died on July 27th of this year. She leave three children, Kimberly Hall and her husband Richard of Milford, NH, Guy Stoddard and his wife Debbie of North Carolina and Scott Stoddard and his wife Jennifer of Templeton as well as eight grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. A daughter, Jeanne Stoddard and two brothers, David Lizotte and Alfred Lizotte, predeceased her.
A memorial service for both Michele and Philip will be held Saturday, October 19th at 3 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. A calling hour from 2 to 3 P.M. will precede the funeral.
