TEMPLETON – Michelle (Bouvier) Parker, 55, of 67 Norcross Hill Road, Baldwinville, died peacefully Friday morning, January 31st at her home, with her family at her side.
She was born in Webster, MA on October 20, 1958, daughter of Beatrice (Lefebvre) Bouvier of Dudley and the late Anthony Bouvier and had lived in Baldwinville for many years.
Michelle graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster, MA. She also received a degree in chemistry from Annhurst College and a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from Worcester State University. She worked for Stevens Linen in Webster as a chemist; at Templeton Developmental Center as an occupational therapist; at Birchwood Manor as rehabilitation director, at Fallon Clinic as an occupational therapist and hand therapist, and most recently at Athol Memorial Hospital as rehabilitation director and hand therapist. She also worked closely with several hand surgeons in the Boston, Worcester and surrounding area.
Michelle was an active member of Memorial Congregational Church of Baldwinville and its Ames-Moore Guild. As her children were growing up, she helped coach her sons basketball teams. She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, swimming, antiques, music and participating in her children’s activities.
In addition to her mother, she leaves her husband of 28 years, Philip R. Parker; three children, Garrison Parker of Melrose, Chandler Parker and Bryce Parker, both of Baldwinville; a brother Richard Bouvier and his wife Kerrie and their children Joe and Robert and a sister, Cindy Kinder and her husband David and their son, Bryan. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Peggy Greenman and her two sons Kyle and Grant, a sister-in law Eng Parker and her son Leigh and daughter Joyce. She will be deeply missed by her beloved dog Bourbon.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 1st, 2014 at 1 PM at Michelle's residence, 67 Norcross Hill Road, Baldwinville. The Rve. Richard Jones will officiate
