M. Rachel Lefebvre

WINCHENDON – M. Rachel (Dodier) Lefebvre, 88, of 568 Shayla Lane, Canyon Lake, TX and formerly of 10 Linden Street, Winchendon, died peacefully Monday, May 9 th , at her residence.
She was born in Sherbrooke, Province of Quebec, Canada on March 9, 1923, the daughter of the late Raoul J. and Roseanna M. (Nolette) Dodier and lived in Winchendon for most of her life. For the last six years, she had lived with her daughter in Canyon Lake, Texas.
Rachel was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, the Golden Age Club and was Past President of Lt. Frederick Wilder White Post 2158 VFW Auxiliary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Her husband, Roland R. Lefebvre, died in 1994. She leaves two sons, Robert H. Lefebvre and his wife Janice of Amherst, MA and Paul U. Lefebvre of Jaffrey, NH; five daughters, Loretta M. Stewart of Winchendon, Ann R. Perley and her husband Eugene of Winchendon, Jeanne I. Cote and her husband Jeffrey of Canyon Lake, TX, Marie D. Szymcik and her husband Scott of Swanzey, NH and Theresa M. Paciencia and her husband Robert of Allen, TX; 21 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Rachel was predeceased by two brothers, Henry Dodier and Leo Dodier and a sister, Irene Robichaud.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 16th at 10 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Mark Szymcik will officiate.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Sunday, May 15th, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M.
