Nancy Ann Bergeron

January 16, 1936 — March 15, 2025

Gardner, MA

Nancy A. Bergeron, a loving and spirited soul born on January 16, 1936, in Charlotte, North Carolina, departed her earthly life on March 15, 2025, leaving a legacy rich in family warmth, generosity, and dedication. Nancy’s light sparkled brightly and she had the biggest heart. She was a homemaker who loved cooking for her family, especially at the holidays. Her motto was, “If you leave here hungry, it’s your own fault!”. She filled her house with love and her spirited nature shone through in her love of travel, the thrill of the casinos, making family gatherings extra special, and making sure everyone was taken care of. She had a vibrant personality and the gift of gab, which allowed her to make friends wherever she went.

Nancy, a Gardner resident, lived her life with an unwavering dedication to her family. She was a nurturing mother to her sons, Robert (Dawn Long), Richard (Annette), and John (Kerry) Bergeron, and cherished her grandchildren, Cassandra, Nicholas, and Lindsey Bergeron. She was a beloved sister to Sue Ellen (Ronald) Luxon, Norman Jr.(Kathy), and Christina (Glenn) Fletcher. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Ann Sixt, and her son, Michael Bergeron and her husband, Edward N. Bergeron on September 4th 2021, they were married for 64 years. She also left behind many family and friends she made at Broadview assisted living. It was her family who mattered the most to her, the very heart and soul of her existence.

Her life was a testament to the adage that "the heart of a home is a mother." Her generosity extended beyond her immediate family, touching everyone who crossed her path. Her laughter, warmth, and love have left indelible imprints on the hearts of many. She was not merely a resident of Gardner and Winchendon, Massachusetts, but a valuable part of these communities, her life deeply intertwined with those around her. She left an impact on the people she met; there wasn’t a life she hasn’t touched in some way.

A special thanks to the wonderful staff and caregivers at Broadview assisted living in Winchendon MA for taking immaculate care of Nancy. Another special thanks for her caregiver, Dawn Long, who was lovingly by Nancy’s side.

We invite you to leave your memories and upload photos to Nancy's memorial page as we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul deeply loved.
