WINCHENDON – Nancy M. (Bussiere) Duffy, 58, of 75 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, died peacefully Saturday morning, March 12 th , in University of Massachusetts Hospital, University Campus, Worcester, after a long illness.
She was born in Peterborough, NH on February 20, 1953, daughter of the late Wilfred and Mariette (Berger) Bussiere and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who most valued spending time with her family. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays and cooking. She also loved the ocean and had a pet squirrel at her home. Nancy was an Avon distributor and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
She leaves her husband of 43 years, Larry E. Duffy Sr; three children, Larry E. Duffy Jr of Winchendon, Brian Duffy and his wife Donna of Gardner and Laurie Kenney of Winchendon; nine grandchildren, Larry E. Duffy III, Christopher Duffy, Todd Alliy Jr, Chelsie Alliy, Ashley Alliy, Megan Houle, Bradley Duffy, Jason Bisceglia and Brianna Bisceglia; five sisters, Jeannine Whitaker and her husband Bruce of Winchendon, Doreen Herr of Winchendon, Suzanne Schaefer and her husband Duane of Indiana, Denise Thibault and her husband Alan of Fitchburg and Brenda Klinger and her husband Fred of Texas; four brothers, Raymond Bussiere of Gardner, Michael Bussiere of Gardner, John Bussiere and his wife Marilyn of Winchendon and Keith Bussiere and his wife Darlene of Winchendon, as well as many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16 th from Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon followed a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in the spring.
Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday, March 15 th from 5 to 8 P.M.
